Ring balance manufacturing
in Bochum — since 1955.
Rixen Messtechnik is the world's sole manufacturer of mechanical differential pressure instruments based on the ring balance principle. Since 1955 we have been building at the same location, by hand, with factory calibration — and with the standard that every shipped instrument remains within tolerance for many years to come.
Made in Germany
Every device is hand-built in Bochum, individually calibrated, and shipped with a factory test certificate. No offshore manufacturing, no OEM rebadging.
Decades of installed-base support
We supply replacement units for devices from the 1980s — using the appliance number we can reconstruct the original configuration exactly. Adapter frames let the wall bores of older installations stay in use.

ISO 9001 since 2016
First certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 in 2016, concurrent with the company's renaming to Rixen Messtechnik GmbH & Co. KG. Re-certification every two years, internal audits annually.
