01 · Application
From pharmaceutical cleanrooms to ATEX zones — the ring balance delivers reliable measurements where conventional sensors fail.

01 · Application
Continuous monitoring of room pressures in pharmaceutical cleanrooms per GMP requirements. The ring balance delivers stable analog readings without drift errors.
Electronic sensors drift in controlled cleanroom environments — recalibration intervals shorten, operating costs rise.
The ring balance does not drift — no readjustment, no maintenance downtime. Where calibration is mandated by regulation (GMP, ISO 14644), calibration history typically shows no deviations: intervals significantly extendable.
02 · Application
Monitoring and control of cleanroom pressures in semiconductor manufacturing — ISO classes 1–5 with the highest demands on particle density and pressure stability.
Modern chip fabs require stable positive and negative pressure zones. Sensor failure or drift means production downtime and yield loss.
The ring balance operates drift-free and maintenance-free — no readjustment, no failure from electromagnetic interference.

03 · Application
Monitoring and control of filter systems and supply/exhaust air differentials in building and industrial technology.
Filter monitoring in HVAC systems requires reliable long-term measurement — electronic sensors need regular maintenance.
The ring balance monitors filter fouling permanently without maintenance intervals. Optional contacts for filter alarms.

04 · Application
Differential pressure measurement in high-temperature furnaces, combustion chambers, and process furnaces.
In high-temperature environments, electronic sensors fail due to thermal expansion and EMI interference.
The fully mechanical measuring principle without electronics in the measuring element is immune to heat and electromagnetic fields.

05 · Application
Monitoring of gas pressures, gas tightness, and pressure control loops in biogas plants and gas distribution networks.
Biogas plants require explosion protection and intrinsically safe instruments — many standard sensors are not approved for these environments.
ATEX-certified variant (RW65_EX_II) approved for Zone 1 and Zone 21 — fully intrinsically safe, without external barrier.

06 · Application
Certified versions for explosive atmospheres per ATEX 2014/34/EU — for both gas and dust.
In Ex zones all measuring equipment must be certified and intrinsically safe — standard transmitters require external Zener barriers.
The RW65_EX_II is intrinsically safe per Category II 1G/D — direct mounting in Zone 0, 1, 2, 20, 21, and 22 without additional protection.
