Why an analogue indicator instead of digital?

Electronic differential pressure sensors (strain gauge, piezo, capacitive) have documented drift rates of 0.2 to 1 % of full scale per year. On a 50 Pa sensor that means up to 2.5 Pa deviation after five years — critical for cleanroom pressure cascades with 10–20 Pa differential. The RW65's mechanical ring balance has no measuring spring that can fatigue, so this effect does not occur physically.

The RW65 works without power supply. No transformer, no terminal, no software — the display is permanently readable. Ideal for backup operation, redundant monitoring, and installations without spare terminal capacity.

The 150×150 mm scale is readable from several metres away. Important for switchboards, airlocks, and filter stations where operators cannot stand directly in front of the device.

Available to order with up to two switching contacts: as magnetic spring contact (MK) for direct, potential-free switching outputs — as is common with manometers equipped with microswitches — or as contact-free NAMUR inductive contact (IK) for direct PLC inputs without contact wear.
