OVERLOAD CAPACITY INDEPENDENT OF THE MEASURING RANGE

The overload capacity of our measuring devices depends solely on the sealing liquid used, not on the specified measuring range.

Example: A ring scale with a measuring range of ±20 Pa (filled with the sealing liquid filling oil) tolerates a permanent overload of up to ±700 Pa without damage. This ensures the integrity of the measuring mechanism and the reliability of the calibration.

For more extreme conditions:

For expected overloads above 700 Pa with filling oil
or over 1.8 kPa when using Galden

we recommend installing an overload protection device to ensure long-lasting and safe operation.
